The Oak Ridge Easter Horse Show was established in 1946 as an event to raise
money to build a new Methodist church. It was such a success that it continued
each year as a fund raiser for local charities, organizations, scholarships and
community projects. The show ran consecutively for 60 plus years before it
disappeared for a while. It was resurrected by the Oak Ridge Horse Show
Association in 2020 and the show returned in 2021. The ORHSA is committed to
preserving this annual event for generations to come.
